- 1/2 lbs Pork Chop
- 3 1/2 cups of rice rinsed water (or just water is fine)
- 2 1/2 cups of Kimchi
- 1/4 cup of Kimchi juice
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 1/2 tbsp Korean chili paste (optional)
- 1/4 tbsp Korean doenjang/soybean paste (optional)
Step #1: Cut pork chop into cubic size
Step #2: Cut kimchi into 2 inches long pieces
Step #3: Pour chopped pork pieces into the rice rinsed water (or just water) and wait for it to boil
Step #4: Once it boils, let it boil for 10 minutes to let all the pork fat to blend with water
Step #5: After pork's been boiling in the water for 10 minutes, place the kimchi and garlic into the pot
Step #6: Put the lid on and let it boil for another 10 minutes
Step #7: This is optional, but if you like yours to be spicy, add Korean chili and doenjang/soybean paste
Step #8: Add Kimchi leftover juice into the pot and let it boil another 10 minutes in medium heat. If you have tofu, place tofu in to the boiling soup five minutes before serving.
Step #9: Pour the soup into a pretty bowl for a picture.
